BACOLOD CITY––The official Facebook account of Sipalay City Mayor Maria Gina Lizares was hacked Thursday evening, Feb. 3.
“Please disregard any communication or request from the Facebook account named ‘Gina Montilla’ as it is being used by a hacker,” a post on the Sipalay City Facebook page said.
“Kindly report and send a screenshot of this particular Facebook account if you have received messages asking for money or donations,” it added.
“We are now doing an immediate investigation to trace the person behind this incident and impose legal action against the unlawful action.”
