Inexperience? ‘I am a strict leader’, Pacquiao says
MANILA, Philippines — “I am a strict leader,” Sen. Manny Pacquiao said on Friday in response to critics who accused him of lacking the experience and capability to serve as president of the country.
During the “2022 Presidential Candidates Forum” led by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), a panelist, citing critics, said that a good intention to serve is not enough to solve the country’s problems.
“Alam nyo po strikto po ako sa pamumuno, maglalagay po tayo ng tao sa bawat ahensya ng ating gobyerno na mapagkatiwalaan, honest, tapat sa pag serbisyo at may kakayahan,” Pacquiao said.
(I am strict when it comes to governance. I will put people in government agencies who are trustworthy, honest, and capable of public service.)
Pacquiao said he also has his “22-rounds agenda” which he will push should he be elected as president.
