Tourism tax: How does Thailand compare with other countries?

BANGKOK — Thailand plans to charge every visitor a 300-baht landing fee from April 1, with the revenue collected to be used for tourism development including disabled-friendly tourist attractions and boost revenue from the new tax by 1.5 billion baht in 2022.
