2 alleged shabu peddlers nabbed in Quezon province
LUCENA CITY––Two drug suspects tagged as street-level peddlers of shabu (crystal meth) were arrested on Monday in Tiaong town in Quezon province, a report said Tuesday.
Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, said operatives nabbed at 9:12 p.m. Jonathan Cunanan, 45, and Rhovic Lopez, 20, both Tiaong residents, after the two sold a pack of crystal meth to an undercover cop acting as a drug user in Barangay Talisay.
Authorities seized three sachets of shabu worth P78,336. Cunanan was also found carrying a fan knife.
The suspects were detained and are facing criminal charges.
