3 drug suspects yield P863K ‘shabu’ in Antipolo City

LUCENA CITY—Police arrested three drug suspects and seized over P863,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation Wednesday in Antipolo City, Rizal province.

The Calabarzon police identified the suspects as Joen Canata, Michael Jimenez, and Angelo Lawaan.

Authorities confiscated five sachets of shabu weighing 127 grams worth about P863,600 after the sting operation at 7:10 p.m. in Barangay Cupang.

The police also seized a Toyota Vios used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.

The suspects faced charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
