58 more cops in Central Luzon recover from COVID-19

OLONGAPO CITY––At least 58 personnel of the Philippine National Police in Central Luzon have been cleared of COVID-19, bringing the number of active cases among its workforce in the region to 280, data from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) showed on Sunday, Jan. 23.

The new recoveries further raised the number of the region’s virus-infected police personnel healed of COVID-19 to 3,221 out of 3,509 cases logged since the pandemic struck in 2020, according to the PRO3 health service.

PRO3 registered 307 active COVID-19 cases the previous day.

Data also showed that 31 more PRO3 personnel had been infected with COVID-19.

No deaths related to COVID-19 were added to PRO3’s tally on Sunday. Its death toll stood at eight.
