(Starting Monday, January 24, we will start accepting applications for the P5,000 financial assistance for workers affected by Alert Level 3 or higher.)
“Para lamang po ito sa mga manggagawa na naapektuhan ng pagsasara ng kanilang mga kumpanya permanently, or by reason of retrenchment sila ay nawalan ng trabaho, at ‘yung mga manggagawa na suspended ang work nila dahil temporarily closed ang kanilang kumpanya under Alert Level 3,” she added.
(This is only for workers who were affected by the permanent closure of their companies or lost their jobs due to retrenchment, and those whose work were suspended because their companies are temporarily closed under Alert Level 3.)
The guidelines for the P1-billion program were stated in DOLE’s Department Order No. 232 signed by Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III on Thursday.
According to the Department Order, applications with complete documentary requirements can be submitted online by clicking here.
The document showed that the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program 3 (CAMP3) is a program that provides a one-time financial assistance to affected workers in the formal sector due to the declaration of at least Alert Level 3.
CAMP 3 aims to provide a one-time financial assistance of P5,000 to affected workers and individuals in the private sector and shall cover workers in areas where Alert Level 3 or higher was declared from January 2022 onwards.
