LUCENA CITY–Three men were arrested while allegedly engaged in a drug session Wednesday, Jan. 19, in Mauban town in Quezon province, police said.

Operatives, acting on a tip from a citizen, caught Robert Jay De Guzman, 31; John Mark Enriquez, 20; and Wilbert Jules Mejida, 19, while sniffing “shabu” (crystal meth) around 5:20 p.m. at the by-pass road in Barangay Polo, Quezon police reported Thursday.

Authorities seized three sachets of shabu worth P3,672 and drug paraphernalia from the suspects.

Police said the three suspects were on the drug watch list in the locality.

The three were detained and were facing corresponding criminal charges.
