LOOK: Bagong Ospital ng Maynila project nearing completion

MANILA, Philippines — Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Tuesday shared on social media pictures of the local government’s ongoing project, Bagong Ospital ng Maynila.

The 10-story fully-airconditioned district hospital is a flagship project of the local government. Its construction started in June 2020 and is eyed for completion within the first half of this year. To date, the local government said, the project is 80 percent complete.

The P2.3-billion hospital is being built under the “Build Build Manila” program. It will have a total floor area of 29,951 square meters, according to the local government.

It will also have a bed capacity of 384, including the 12 intensive care units and 20 private rooms, as well as other amenities such as the three-story parking building and a helipad.
