MANILA, Philippines — The US Embassy in the Philippines has canceled nonimmigrant B1/B2 (business/tourist) visa interview appointments scheduled through Jan. 31, due to the sharp increase in COVID-19 infections in the country.
The embassy, in a statement, said applicants could reschedule their canceled visa interview once visa services resume by contacting the embassy call center at 77928988 and 85488223, or through the online appointment system atustraveldocs.com/ph.
“There is no fee to change an appointment, and the validity of the visa fee payment is extended until Sept. 30, 2023,” the embassy said.
