LUCENA CITY—A motorcyclist died and three other riders were injured Sunday in a three-vehicle collision along a national highway in San Jose town in Batangas province, police said Monday.

San Jose police reported that a car being driven by Mark Kenneth Adami, 26, occupied the opposite lane to overtake another vehicle when it collided at around 9:30 p.m. with an oncoming motorcycle driven by Michael Fabellon, 31, in the highway in Barangay Pinagtung-Ulan.

The wayward motorcycle consequently hit another motorcycle ridden by Kenneth Francisco and the pillion rider, Gulebee Fabellon.
