P2-M ornamental plants stolen from Batangas orchard
MANILA, Philippines — Police are in pursuit of a thief who took an estimated P2 million worth of ornamental plants from an elderly couple’s orchard in Batangas.
According to police, the couple went to the Padre Garcia Municipal Police Station on New Year’s Day to report that their plants were stolen from their orchard in Barangay San Miguel between 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on December 30.
Police said two Philodendron Strawberry Shake, one Philodendron Florida Beauty, four Philodendron Ring of Fire, one Philodendron Black Cardinal, and one Philodendron Jose Bono were stolen from the victims.
Police said the plants “were stolen thereat with an estimated amount of more or less Php2,000,000.00.”
