Over 100 COVID – positive returning overseas Filipinos moved to Manila quarantine facility
MANILA, Philippines — Over 100 COVID-19 positive returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) have been transported to the Manila COVID-19 Field Hospital on Friday.
BOQ Director Roberto Salvador Jr. said that the local government unit of Manila will shoulder the quarantine expenses of the mild and asymptomatic ROFs who were transferred to the facility.
“Pinaunlakan po tayo ng Mayor Isko [Moreno] na tanggapin ang OFWs natin na nagpositive, mild at asymptomatic, dito sa Manila quarantine facility, so si mayor na po ang magshoshoulder ng lahat ng expenses hanggang makauwi sila,” Salvador said in a press briefing.
