MANILA, Philippines — A prosecutor was shot dead in front of his house in Cavite Friday morning.
The police identified the victim as Assistant City Prosecutor Edilbert Mendoza.
Mendoza was outside his house at around 7:30 a.m. along Barangay Cabuco, TMC, Cavite when he was shot to the head.
The gunman reportedly fled on foot.
The police said it is conducting a dragnet operation for possible identification and arrest of the suspect.
