Active COVID-19 cases in Quezon down to 11
LUCENA CITY––Quezon province has only 11 remaining active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday, Dec. 21, a big decline from the four-digit single-day tally three months ago, the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) reported Tuesday.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin on Dec. 21, the IPHO also listed eight recoveries – four in Tayabas City and four on the island town of Polillo.
The province had one new COVID-19 case in Sariaya town.
From Dec. 1 to 21, the province logged 44 new COVID-19 patients, from 211 in November, 2,115 in October, and 5,342 in September.
The significant decline of COVID-19 cases in the province brought down the latest number of active cases to 11 from 2,570 on Sept. 21.
