Dargani confirms Lin Wei Xiong’s post as Pharmally’s financial manager
MANILA, Philippines — Lin Wei Xiong, the husband of businesswoman Rose Nono-Lin who previously drew flak over her inability to explain where her luxury cars came from, served as financial manager of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp.
Pharmally secretary and treasurer Mohit Dargani confirmed this during a Senate hearing Tuesday after Senate blue ribbon committee chairman Richard Gordon presented a document showing Lin Wei Xiong’s signature as the firm’s financial manager.
“He was just placed as a financial manager for that particular—” Mohit said before he was cut by Gordon who asked about the identity of the person who nominated Lin Wei Xiong for the post.
“The board,” Dargani responded.
Asked who the members of the board are, Dargani initially said it is composed of himself, Pharmally president Huang Tzu Yen, and director Linconn Ong.

According to Dargani, he cannot remember who specifically nominated Lin Wei Xiong as Pharmally’s financial manager.
“That’s always the convenient answer—I cannot remember. How can you not remember? You’re dealing with a… billion-peso corporation. Financial manager, you cannot remember?” Gordon asked.
Lin Wei Xiong and his wife, Rose, were previously summoned to attend the Senate blue ribbon panel inquiry over their alleged link with Pharmally, which senators are scrutinizing for allegedly being favored in clinching pandemic supply contracts with the government in 2020.
