THE SACRED HEART School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles arranged a championship game between second seeds as they upset the top-ranked Cebu Eastern College Dragons, 54-40, in the semifinals of the 16-under division A in the 2012 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup over the weekend at the SHS-AdC basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

SHS-AdC took the initiative and led all the way. They established a 10-point lead in the first half and were still ahead by six, 37-31, heading to the final period. CEC persevered and got to within two, 48-50, but the Magis Eagles held on, thanks to their solid defense and calm shooting from the free-throw line.

They will now face the University of the Visayas in the finals this Sunday at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball court.
