‘Improved’ weather in parts of Luzon; humid Monday for Visayas, Mindanao
MANILA, Philippines — Weather conditions in Metro Manila and in some parts of Luzon will be “generally improving” on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday night.
According to Pagasa weather specialist Chris Perez, the northeast monsoon will still affect the eastern portion of Luzon.
(The effects of the northeast monsoon are still expected in the eastern section of Luzon. The shear line may also affect some parts of the Bicol Region. We are advising people living in the eastern section of Luzon to be alert for possible flash floods and landslides.)
Perez advised residents in these areas to monitor heavy rainfall and thunderstorm advisories.
