Another Tarlac town now COVID-free
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––San Manuel became the third town in Tarlac province to have zero COVID-19 cases after its single patient recovered from the disease on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
Earlier, the towns of Anao and Ramos obtained a virus-free status for having no active infections.
Pura and San Clemente towns, which have a single case each, are expected to be COVID-free in the next several days.
The province has 92 active cases as of Thursday. It registered two new cases, three recoveries, and no deaths on the same day.
Capas has the most active cases at 19, followed by Paniqui (15), and Gerona (14).
Tarlac has recorded 18,978 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 18,049 have recovered, while 837 had died. INQ
