PNP reports no new COVID-19 active cases among personnel

MANILA, Philippines — No new active COVID-19 cases were reported in the 220,000-strong Philippine National Police (PNP).

According to the PNP, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the agency remains at 25.

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the PNP is 42,240. Of the total, 42,090 are recoveries and 125 are deaths.

The latest available data from the PNP show that the vaccination of police personnel against COVID-19 is nearing 100 percent.

The total number of COVID-19 cases nationwide is now at 2,836,915, including 10,192 active cases, 2,776,273 recoveries, and 50,449 deaths, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
