MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines received on Tuesday two million additional doses of Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J) COVID-19 vaccines from the Dutch government.
The donation, coursed through the Covax Facility, is composed of 2,011,200 doses of J&J’s Janssen, which arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 around 10 p.m.
This is the third batch of donations from the Netherlands.
The first batch of 1.5 million Janssen doses arrived on Monday. The second batch, composed of 945,600 doses, arrived earlier this day.

Aside from the donations of the Netherlands today, the Philippines also got 1.5 million doses of Moderna, two million of CoronaVac from Sinovac BioTech, and 1.7 million of J&J COVID-19 vaccine doses donated by France, Spain, China, Sweden, and Austria.

The National Task Force Against COVID-19 noted that the Dutch donation completed the expected deliveries of eight million doses, the highest single-day delivery of vaccines.

As of Monday evening, the Philippines has received a total of 158,540,170 doses of various COVID-19 vaccines since deliveries began in February.
