Fire hits residential area in Pasig City
MANILA, Philippines—Fire swept through a residential area in Pasig City Monday morning, gutting several houses, fire officials said.
Fire Officer 3 Glenn Quilang of the city’s fire bureau said the fire started around 11:50 a.m. in a residential area along Victoria Ville, West Bank Road, Floodway in Barangay (village) Rosario, and reached third alarm before it was put out about an hour later.
No one was reported injured in the fire. Fire officials are still trying to determine the cause of the fire and the cost of damage.
