BACOLOD CITY, Philippines—Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has granted the request of the 2GO Group to increase the number of passengers on its sea vessels bound for the province.

Starting Dec. 16, 2GO can increase the passenger cap of its vessels bound for Negros Occidental to 70 percent.

The classification of Negros Occidental to Alert Level 2  and Executive Order 21-55, Series of 2021, provides that “intrazonal and interzonal travel of all ages and for any purpose, including leisure, shall be allowed,” Lacson said.
