Infant, 6 others contract COVID-19 in Tarlac

60 more Tarlac residents contract COVID-19; death toll rises to 744MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––A 2-year-old girl is among the seven new COVID-19 cases in Tarlac, the provincial government disclosed on Friday, Dec. 10.

The infant from Concepcion town showed mild symptoms and is under quarantine.

Also among the new cases is an 11-year-old girl from Tarlac City. She had mild symptoms and is under quarantine.

The other new COVID-19 cases are from Concepcion, Tarlac City, Paniqui, Bamban, and Camiling.

Data also showed that the province registered 11 new recoveries and zero deaths on Friday. Its active cases stood at 109.

On Thursday, the province had four new COVID-19 cases, six recoveries, and no deaths.

Since the pandemic began last year, Tarlac had recorded 18,958 COVID-19 cases, of which 18,014 had recovered, while 835 had died. INQ.
