Only 11 Ilocos Norte cop personnel not yet jabbed vs COVID-19

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte—Only 11 remained unvaccinated against COVID-19 among the Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel in Ilocos Norte province, according to a top official.

In a press briefing Tuesday, Dec. 7, Col. Christopher Abrahano, director of the Ilocos Norte police office, said the 11 belong to the non-uniformed personnel.

Abrahano said the personnel was not yet vaccinated due to valid health reasons.

“They were accorded the opportunity to present their reasons why they were not yet vaccinated, and the health services of the PNP accepted their justifications,” added Abrahano.

Ilocos Norte has 1,377 PNP personnel, data showed.
