According to Olivarez, more eligible individuals are needed to be administered with a booster shot.

He added that pediatric vaccination has reached 60 percent.

“Ang marami po natin ngayon ‘yung booster at saka po ‘yung tinatapos po nating 12-17-years old kasi nakaka-60 percent na po kami sa Parañaque sa pediatric vaccination,” he shared.

(More people needing a booster are yet to be vaccinated and we are completing the 12-17-years old because we hit 60 percent in Parañaque’s pediatric vaccination.)

Olivarez also said that they are prepared for the second vaccination drive set on December 15 to 17.

Parañaque City is among the highly urbanized cities that have achieved herd immunity, the Department of the Interior and Local Government said on Tuesday.

The three-day Bayanihan, Bakunahan aimed to immunize nine million individuals against COVID-19.
