“Itong ginawa nating national vaccination day was a huge success. We were targeting 9 million individuals to be vaccinated. As of yesterday ang tally natin ay 9.9 million ang nabakunahan mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes,” Vergeire said at the Laging Handa public briefing.

The Department of Health (DOH) clarified on Thursday that the increase in the percentage of severe and critical cases of COVID-19 in its daily reports is just a result of delayed validation on the status of these cases and of the lower number of active infections.
