MANILA, Philippines — Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos on Monday represented his father, presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at a campaign rally in Valencia City, Bukidnon,
“Ako po ay nagapasalamat sa napaka-init ninyong pagsalubong (I am grateful for your very warm welcome),” said the younger Marcos, who was joined by Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) and House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez, his father’s cousin.
Marcos asked for support for the tandem of his father and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte in the upcoming 2022 national elections.
“Kaya ngayon hanggang sa halalan po, inaasahan ng BBM-Sara UniTeam ang inyong suporta, ang inyong tulong para naman pagdating sa panahon at pagdating ng tamang araw ang BBM-Sara naman ay makakatulong po sa inyong lahat,” said Marcos.

For his part, Romualdez also thanked the crowd for their support to the Marcos-Duterte tandem during the rally.
Present during the rally were Valencia City Mayor Azucena P. Huervas, Bukidnon Reps. Rogelio Neil Roque who is running for governor and Jonathan Keith T. Flores.
After the rally, Marcos, Romualdez and Tingog Party-list nominee Jude Acidre then attended the inauguration of the UniTeam-Tingog party-list headquarters in Bukidnon.
The 27-year-old scion of the Marcos family himself filed his certificate of candidacy for congressman in the 1st District of Ilocos Norte.
