CEBU CITY—Presidential aspirant and Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno has asked the support of Cebu business leaders as he continues to make rounds in the province on Monday, Dec. 6.

“If you like me, please share it. Please help me win the election. I need your help. I can only do these things, my aspirations, whether you call them visions or missions in my life, (with your help). One thing that I guarantee you, I will be there serving you,” he told members of local business organizations.

Moreno was joined by members and presidents of the most prominent business organizations in the province, including the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Cebu Banker’s Club.

If he wins, he also promised local businessmen that there will be 50 percent tax cuts on fuel and electricity.

Prior to meeting the business leaders, Moreno went to meet Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard Chan and some 4,000 urban poor residents of the city.

He promised them a housing project similar to what he has done for the urban poor in Manila.
