SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Seven more public schools in this province were allowed by the Department of Education to conduct in-person classes, the agency announced on Thursday, Dec. 2.
Allowed to hold in-person classes are the Buhawen Elementary School, Pili Elementary School, Dalanawan Elementary School, and Buhawen National High School, all in San Marcelino town.
Also permitted are Poonbato Integrated School, Villar Integrated School, and Cabatuan Integrated School, all in Botolan town.
The seven are the only schools in Central Luzon to join the second batch that will pilot the implementation of limited physical classes on different dates starting this month.
They belong to the 177 additional public schools selected by DepEd after passing the safety assessment of the agency and the Department of Health.
On Nov. 15, the DepEd initially allowed 10 other public schools in Zambales to pilot the in-person classes.
