Metro Manila to remain under Alert Level 2 until December 15

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila will remain under COVID-19 Alert Level 2 until December 15, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles announced Monday.

Nograles said in a statement that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases gave a green light on the recommendation to retain Metro Manila’s existing alert level.

Other areas placed under COVID-19 Alert Level 2 from December 1-15 are:

Cordillera Administrative Region

Region I

Region II

Region III

Region IV-A

Region IV-B

Region V

Region VI

Region VII

Region VIII

Region IX

Region X

Region XI

Region XII

Region XIII

Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

Meanwhile, Nograles also said that COVID-19 Alert Level 3 will be raised over the province of Apayao during the same period.
