Doctors, nurses of Angeles City gov’t hospital get booster shots vs COVID-19

ANGELES CITY––At least 92 medical doctors, nurses, and medical technologists of the city government-owned Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (formerly known as Ospital Ning Angeles) received Thursday their booster shots against COVID-19.

In a statement, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said giving booster shots would provide enough protection to the medical frontliners.

The city government said the recipients of the booster shots were fully vaccinated in March and April.

Irish Calaguas, Lazatin’s chief adviser and chief implementer of the city’s vaccination programs, said booster shots for the other medical frontliners would be done by schedule.

On Friday, a city mobile bus clinic was dispatched to Sapangbato for the second dose of 47 village residents, which include Aetas. INQ
