Bulacan’s active COVID-19 cases down to 605
CITY OF MALOLOS—The province of Bulacan recorded 605 active cases on Tuesday (Nov. 23), its lowest in the past 11 months, local data showed.
Since last month when its active infections peaked at 854, the number of active cases in the province has been on a downward trend, according to Bulacan public health records.
Dr. Hijordis Marushka Celis, Bulacan COVID-19 task force vice chair, said Bulacan’s vaccination rate has already reached 59 percent since 1,054,659 residents had received either the first or second dose of the vaccine.
The province targets to inoculate 1,779,751 residents to achieve herd immunity.
