MANILA, Philippines — Only the cities of Muntinlupa and Las Piñas have a high risk intensive care unit (ICU) utilization rate in Metro Manila, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said on Monday.
In an interview on TeleRadyo’s Kabayan, Vergeire said that the Philippines and Metro Manila’s ICU utilization is at 30 percent only.
“Dito po sa Philippines, low risk po tayo ngayon ‘pag tinignan ang kabuuan ng ating bansa, we are at 30-percent ICU utilization,” she said.
(Here in the Philippines, we’re at low risk at 30-percent ICU utilization.)
