Drug suspect falls in Lucena bust; P34K worth of ‘shabu’ seized

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested an alleged notorious drug pusher and seized over P34,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from him in a buy-bust operation here on Saturday, report said Sunday.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents collared Daniel Siacor, 38, after he sold P500 worth shabu to an undercover cop acting as a drug user in Barangay Dalahican around 4:42 p.m.

The suspect, who is included in the police list of identified drug pushers in the province, yielded five plastic sachets of shabu with a street value of P34,272.

Rehabilitated drug users in the coastal village identified Siacor as one of the suppliers of shabu to fisherfolk, pier workers, and other drug users in the area.

The suspect was detained and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
