2 nabbed for selling guns in Zambales town

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Another suspected gun runner was arrested Thursday in San Narciso town in this province, police said.

Col. Romano Cardiño, police provincial director, identified the suspect as Rafael Delgaco, 46, a farmer in Castillejos town.

Delgaco reportedly sold loose firearms to an undercover agent during an entrapment operation around 11 p.m.

Police seized a pistol, two magazines, seven live ammunition for caliber 9mm, an empty fired cartridge, and the marked P1,000 peso bill from the suspect.

Another man was caught Thursday after allegedly selling an unlicensed gun to an undercover agent.

Both were detained at the San Narciso police station. They face charges for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
