Former Tagbilaran chief executive files COC to join mayoral race
TAGBILARAN CITY — Former Tagbilaran City Mayor Dan Neri Lim on Monday filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor in the 2022 elections.
Lim, who will run under the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (formerly Partido ng Masang Pilipino), personally filed his COC at 2:30 p.m. at the the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) office in Tagbilaran.
He was accompanied by lawyers Doni Piquero and Bryan Pelandas.
Lim substituted his son, Dan Ismael, who will run for city councilor.
Lim, who became city mayor from 2004 to 2013, will go against Jane Yap, Vice Mayor Jose Antonio Veloso and Councilor Vicente Polinar.

Former Booy Captain and incumbent barangay councilor Jun Telmo filed his COC after Renante Galolo withdrew his candidacy.
Poblacion 1 Barangay Captain Arlene Pondoc-Karaan also filed her COC for city councilor after her husband, Lino, withdrew his candidacy.
