Camarines Sur Congress bet withdraws COC in favor of local businessman

LIGAO CITY – Dennis Tria, a candidate vying for a congressional position in the third district of Camarines Sur province in the 2022 elections, has withdrawn his certificate of candidacy (COC) to be substituted by a local businessman.

Tria was replaced by Noel De Luna, a businessman and resident of Pili town in Camarines Sur, who is running under the banner of Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan.

De Luna filed his COC on Saturday at 3:20 p.m. at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Pili.

De Luna will go against incumbent Gabriel “Gabby” Bordado of Liberal Party; Cho Roco, brother of late Senator Raul Roco and founder of Aksyon Demokratiko but is running under the Lakas-CMD; and former Solicitor-General and Integrated Bar of the Philippines president Joel Cadiz of Aksyon Demokratiko.
