Over 3,300 minors in City of San Fernando get first dose of COVID-19 vaccine
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The City of San Fernando has administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to 3,348 minors, aged 12 to 17 years as of Friday.
In a social media post on Friday, the city government reported that the minors are among the 189,953 residents who have received the first dose of the vaccine, which comprise 78.5 percent of the target population.
A total of 147,567 or 61 percent of the eligible residents have been fully inoculated as of November 11.
There are 42,386 partially inoculated residents, including the minors in the city.
On Friday, the capital city registered seven new COVID-19 cases, 15 recoveries and no deaths.
Since the pandemic broke out last year, the city has logged 11,242 COVID-19 cases (10,856 recoveries and 323 deaths.)
