MANILA, Philippines – Generally fair weather with partly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms is expected on Saturday, according to the state weather bureau.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its 4 a.m, update, said that scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will hit Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Palawan, Albay, Masbate, and Sorsogon due to the intertropical convergence zone.

Localized thunderstorms, on the other hand, may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
