MANILA, Philippines — Presidential aspirant and Vice President Leni Robredo on Sunday said that trolls will lose against her as she is not affected by them.
“Ang parati nga sagot ko, lugi sa akin ang mga trolls kasi hindi ako naaapektuhan,” Robredo said when interviewed by local media in Camarines Norte.
(My answer has always been: They lose because I am not affected.)
“Iyong sa akin, iyong tutok ko iyong trabaho… given na maliit iyong mandato namin, maliit iyong aming resources, papaano ba kami makakatulong? Kasi kung papansinin ko iyong lahat na paninira sa akin na wala namang katuturan, nagsasayang lang ako ng oras at emosyon,” she said.
(I focus on my work. Given that I have a limited mandate and resources, how can I help? If I attend to all the criticisms, I am just wasting my time and emotion.)
Robredo, together with her running mate Senator Francis Pangilinan vowed to restore effective governance which prioritizes the welfare of the people and work for a united country.
