Guard in Tarlac nabbed for filming woman taking a shower

Pasay cops seize shabu from student flagged down for not wearing helmet MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Policemen arrested a security guard for allegedly filming a woman while she was taking a shower Sunday evening in San Roque village, Tarlac City.

In a report, the Tarlac police identified the suspect as Joebert Villanueva, 32.

It said a 28-year-old woman was taking a shower inside a bathroom of the Department of the Interior and Local Government building around 10:30 p.m. when she noticed a mobile phone at the window, its camera focused on her.

The woman then screamed to get the attention of the guard but the latter did not respond promptly.

When the guard showed up, he allegedly just retrieved the phone from the window and left.

The woman then called her co-employees and asked them to report the matter to the police.

Villanueva was arrested and is facing charges for violation of the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.

Tarlac police did not provide any detail about the woman or why she was inside the DILG building at night. INQ
