“Tama po ‘yun. ‘Yan na po ‘yung mga susunod na gagawin na natin. By October 29, may plano na po by Friday to further expand itong pagbabakuna natin ng ating mga kabataan with comorbidities,” Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said on Teleradyo Monday.

As of October 24, the government has vaccinated 9,928 children with comorbidities in Metro Manila.

Vergeire said that there are no serious adverse reactions reported among vaccinated children, so far.

She, however, earlier reported that four minors experienced adverse events which were all managed.

The pilot run of pediatric vaccination commenced on October 15 in eight participating hospitals in Metro Manila.

Last week, the DOH kicked off the Phase 2 of COVID-19 immunization among children in 24 vaccination sites in Metro Manila.
