MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-four vaccination sites are included in phase 2 of the vaccination of children against COVID-19, based on the initial list of the National Vaccination Operation Center (NVOC) released on Wednesday.

During the Laging Handa briefing, NVOC’s Dr. Kezia Rosario said that the phase 2 vaccination sites include hospitals that participated in the pilot pediatric inoculation.

She noted that vaccinations will be held in hospitals and non-hospital facilities as some local government units (LGUs) have limited spaces.

“So, each of the local government units naman po ng (of the) National Capital Region have already prepared ng kanilang (their) vaccination site using iyong (their) hospital as a vaccination site,” Rosario said.

“We had din na mga (we also had) LGUs, due to limitation ng (of) spaces ng (of the) hospital, have negotiated with us to use several of their nearby facilities as vaccination sites,” she added.

Rosario assured the public that non-hospital vaccination sites were inspected and are near hospitals.
