Lingkod ng Panginoon sponsors 2 HS students
The Lingkod ng Panginoon Mactan, a group of Singles for Christ, turned over their first month donation of P2,000 to the Albert Schweitzer Familienwerk Foundation Philippines Inc. (Children’s Haven) in barangay Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu for the educational needs of two high school students this year until they finish college.
Macky Igot, branch leader and Lotlot Cahayagan, branch women’s moderator of the group assured ASFFPI executive director Martiniana Mercado of their support to prepare the kids for a productive future.
The Lingkod ng Panginoon Mactan is a regular partner of the foundation for the spiritual and value formation of the children.
It holds group activities, video showings with good moral values.
The group has been conducting monthly activities at the Children’s Haven every second Sunday of the month.
The group is composed of professionals who are working in private companies, family business and government offices in Metro Cebu.
In their last activity, the group donated food stuff, school supplies and souvenir items for the kids and staff.
Regular feeding follows every second Sunday.
