Arroyo convoy nears Pasay court

MANILA, Philippines — A convoy of two white coaster vans, one of which is expected to have former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and security are near the Pasay regional trial court.

As of posting time, the convoy, which left the Veterans’ Memorial Medical Center at 8:07 a.m., passed Del Pan Road in Tondo.

Arroyo is scheduled for arraignment on an electoral sabotage charge for allegedly helping rig the 2007 elections.
