Top drug suspect in Zambales nabbed – police
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A jobless man in this town was arrested after allegedly selling “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover agent on Sunday evening (Oct. 17).
Col. Romano Cardiño, police provincial director, identified the suspect as Melanio Santos Jr., 33.
Police said Santos is among the top priority target drug personalities in the province and is allegedly a Buela Gang Drug Group member.
Seized from him were 11 plastic sachets containing alleged shabu and the buy-bust money.
Santos was detained at the custodial facility of the San Antonio municipal police station and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
