Subic opens registration for vaccination of kids age 12-17

SUBIC, Zambales — The local government here has opened the online registration of children age 12-17 for vaccination against COVID-19 as it prepares for the go-signal of the Department of Health.

According to the municipal health office (MHO), this would allow healthcare workers to immediately conduct the mass inoculation for the minors once the government begins the vaccination.

The town has also begun the inoculation of the rest of the adult population.

Mass vaccination in the municipality is being held in two major sites — the municipal gymnasium and Waltermart — which could accommodate 200 people each at a time.

The MHO is also allowing “walk-in” vaccine recipients to speed up the rollout.
