MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte “never got exposed” to his daughter Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio who has contracted COVID-19, Presidential Security Group (PSG) commander Col. Randolph Cabangbang said Monday.

Duterte-Carpio’s office announced on Saturday that the Davao City mayor tested positive for COVID-19 and urged those who had close contact with her in the last 14 days to self-monitor for symptoms and get tested five to seven days from their contact with her.
