Police arrested three persons here on Wednesday night (Aug. 11) for possession of a gun and several sachets of crystal meth or shabu, but only after a chase in the sea.

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A 32-year-old man, who is wanted for frustrated murder, was arrested by authorities after being in hiding for five years, police said Thursday, Oct. 7.

Col. Romano Cardiño, police provincial director, identified the suspect as Edu Gaviola, who is the most wanted person in Subic town.

Gaviola was arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by Judge Roline Ginez- Jabalde of Regional Trial Court Branch 74 in Olongapo City on March 9, 2017.

Cardiño said the suspect allegedly hit his victim with a rock in January 2016 and later went into hiding. INQ
